Remote: For a getaway in a remote secluded setting, fly into our outpost cabin on Otukamamoan Lake, 60 airmiles from Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Fishing Trip: Take your next Canada fishing trip to Kelly's Castaway in Nestor Falls, Ontario. Every day brings a new adventure on Crooked Pine Lake (Kakabikitchiwan) you can fish for Walleye, Northern, Lake Trout, Crappie, Small & Large Mouth Bass and Muskies.
Hunting Trips: We offer Canadian hunting trips for bear, whitetail deer and grouse in the Nestor Falls area of Lake of the Woods.
Angling
Northern Pike: Every day brings a new adventure on Crooked Pine Lake (Kakabikitchiwan) where you will find canadian northern pike fishing at its best. At our resort we offer american plan packages or housekeeping packages at our outpost cabins for your fishing trip
Muskie: On your musky fishing trip to Canada, fish for muskie on Crooked Pine Lake (Kakabikitchiwan) or take a day trip into Lake of the Woods well known for trophy muskie for some great action.
Walleye: Ontario walleye fishing on Kababikitchiwan (Pine), Otukamamoan and Kishkutena Lakes. Lots of 1/4 oz. lead jigs are essential for walleyes, tied directly to the line and tipped with a live minnow or plastic grubtail.
Smallmouth Bass: Plan a canadian fishing vacation to Nestor Falls where we have great Ontario smallmouth bass fishing. You can fish for bass on Crooked Pine Lake or at our outpost on Otukamoan Lake.
Lake Trout: Little Cleos, #3 and #4 Mepps spinners, chrome-colored rattletraps and rapalas are all good lures for Lake Trout fishing, whether you are fishing on Crooked Pine Lake or at Otukamomoan or Kishkutena our outpost lakes.
Largemouth Bass: We offer largemouth bass fishing on Crooked Pine Lake (Kakabikitchiwan).
Crappie: The Nestor Falls, Ontario area has some of the best crappie fishing in Canada.
Conservation Fishing: Experience one of our little-known "secret" lakes where we fish strictly catch and realease and practice conservation fishing. Bring along a camera because you won't believe the action.
Hunting
Deer: If you are looking to go hunting for whitetail deer in Nestor Falls, Ontario for your canadian deer hunting trip we have accomodations to meet your needs.
Black Bear: At Kelly's Castaway Lodge we do our fall Black Bear Hunts at our fly-in outposts. We have a large bear area & only take a limited number of hunters with baited ground blinds. Combine this with a fall fishing trip for walleye, northern pike or bass.
Grouse: When planning your Ontario hunting trip to the Nestor Falls area why not combine a fall whitetail deer hunt with grouse hunting.
Marine
Fishing Boats: While on your canadian fishing vacation at Kelly's Castaway Lodge we have fishing boat rentals at both our main lodge and outpost lakes.
Boat Cache: We have a walk over portage to a boat and motor at our boat cache on Crackshot Lake from our outpost on Otukamamoan (Trout) Lake.
Services / Accommodations
American Plan: Our American Plan Fishing Package includes: guest house accomodations, guides, all meals, choice of fly-in day fishing or guided fishing on Lake of the Woods each day, all flights, boats, motors, & gas, live bait, fish cleaning, wrapping & freezing.
Housekeeping Cabins: Our housekeeping cabins in Nestor Falls can accomodate 6 to 14 people, they are all fully modern deluxe cottage rentals with a view of the lake to enjoy a Northwestern Ontario sunset.
Cabin Rentals: This charming facility located on the shores of kakabikitchiwan (Big Pine) Lake at Nestor Falls features four spacious cabin rentals, two have stone fireplaces and pine interiors combine to create a special warmth in a spectacular setting.
Cottage Rentals: Our cottage rentals are located only one hour north of the Canadian border in Nestor Falls,Ontario, yet worlds away from the pressures of everyday life! Enjoy comfortable accomodations with everything that you will need for a canadian vacation.
Outposts: Our outpost cabin is located on Otukamamoan (Trout Lake) in a remote fishing area. It has Walleye, Northern, Lake Trout & Smallmouth Bass. It is a 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps 8. Hot & cold running water with a shower. There's also a sand beach.
Fly In Access: While our main lodge is a drive in resort, you can fly in on a float plane to our outpost cabin on Otukamamoan (Trout Lake) in a remote fishing area about 60 airmiles from Nestor Falls, Ontario.
Fishing: Fishing licenses are available at the Lodge, plus there is a wide variety of tackle available locally in Nestor Falls.
Conference Rooms: If you require conference rooms for a business fishing trip, family renunion or whatever the occasion may be we have one to accomodate you.
Pet Friendly: Kelly's Castaway Lodge is a pets allowed resort located in Nestor Falls, Ontario on Crooked Pine Lake.
Fishing: Hop aboard one of our float planes waiting at the dock for a day of guided fly-in day fishing, or jump into one of our 18' cruisers and let your fishing guide show you a comfortable action filled day out on beautiful Lake of the Woods.
Hunting: Kelly's Castaway Lodge offers guided hunting trips for deer and black bear in the Nestor Falls area.
Hotels / Motels: For a weekend getaway at Kelly's Castaway Lodge in Nestor Falls, Ontario we have two hotel/motel/B&B rooms with docking facilities are available.
Drive In Access: Our drive in resort is located approximately 65 miles north of the Fort Frances, Ontario - International Falls, Minnesota border crossing. Follow Highway 11 and 71 west out of Fort Frances and then Highway 71 north to Nestor Falls.
Family Vacations: The Nestor Falls area is great for family vacations. Stay in one of our beautiful cabins. Go fishing, swimming, boating or play horse shoes. Go for a trip into Nestor Falls for some ice cream. Play a game of mini golf or have a picnic at the falls.
