Fishing Trip: Your fishing trip in Ontario at Thunderhook Fly-In/Smooth Rock Camp will be one to remember. The only access to our remote outpost camps in the Wabakimi is by float plane or canoe so the walleye, pike and trout are plentiful and plenty frisky.
Hunting Trips: In the fall Thunderhook offers moose hunting trips at our fly-in camps. Experience moose hunting in Ontario in the Armstrong area.
Remote: Our cabins are located in a remote secluded setting in the wilderness. Fly in to our 'secret' remote lake where we send only 5 groups a summer in order to offer a particularly exceptional walleye fishing experience.
Angling
Walleye: Walleye fishing in Ontario is excellent in the Wabakimi Wilderness Park. Walleye here are abundant. Any angler will enjoy the adventure of fishing these remote waters for walleye.
Northern Pike: Northern pike fishing on the waters of Thunderhook Fly In/Smooth Rock Camp is exciting! Found in weedy bars and off rocky points, ranging from 6 to 30 pounds plus, fishing for Northern Pike in Ontario doesn't get any better than this.
Lake Trout: Lake trout fishing near Armstrong, Ontario Canada is excellent with all the deep, cool lakes. Lake trout can get really big in these waters and fun to fish. We offer an exciting fishing vacation no matter what species of fish you are after!

Air Services: Air services are provided to all our guests - Drive to our base and fly out of Armstrong, Ontario.
Fishing: Fishing guides are available at Smoothrock Camp and at our Shabuskwia Lake outposts. Our guides will assist you in navigating the Northern Ontario waters and to find that trophy fish.
Hotels / Motels: Stay at our motel the night before your trip begins. We have coffee and fresh muffins in the morning and then you fly off to camp. The bunkhouse is located across from the float plane base.
