You can't beat houseboating for a family vacation. There is something to do for everyone - cruise to a sand beach and the children can play till their hearts content. Mother nature has given Lake of the Woods some great beaches and we have marked about 80 beaches for our guests. There are literally thousands of islands to explore. Water-skiing, tubing, crayfish gathering, hiking, canoeing, sunbathing and reading are just some of the activities to enjoy. Some of our houseboats have waterslides, which is very popular, even for the "big kids". At nighttime enjoy a sunset, make a campfire, roast marshmallows, tell stories or view the spectacular Northern Lights if you are lucky. Oh, and did we mention the fishing… For the fisherman there are no more long boat trips to your favorite fishing hole. Just park your houseboat and cast off the back deck, or take the fishing boat - morning afternoon or evening. It is easy to do when your fishing spot is nearby. A houseboat gives you flexibility - stay at the same beach all week, or cruise to another site every day or two to explore a new location; the choice is yours.

Despite its wonderful complexity, Lake of the Woods is well charted, making navigation easy. We provide a complete package of information to our guests to assist in planning their vacation. We take pride in our fleet and invite you to compare the value of our first-rate houseboats. We have 6 different models sleeping from 2 - 16 people and offer weekend, weekly and midweek packages.

We are proud of our continuing commitment to provide environmentally friendly houseboats and keep our Lake as clean as possible. We have installed grey water holding tanks and fresh water tanks on ore 44', 49SP, 58' and 68' models. The installation of the tanks means no "grey" water from showers, kitchen sink, etc will go into our beautiful Lake.

Our base is located in downtown Kenora, Ontario just 45 miles north of Sioux Narrows, Ontario. We are 125 miles north of International Falls, MN and 120 miles east of Winnipeg, MB.
