Activities / Attractions
Fishing Trip: A canadian fishing trip to Latreille Lake is a must for walleye, northern pike and perch fishing. As we are a fly in resort we are the only ones on the lake making for great fishing.
Secluded Settings: If you are looking for a remote secluded setting for your next canadian vacation, look no further Latreille Lake Lodge is a fly-in resort located 54 air miles north of Ear Falls, Ontario. Come enjoy the peace and tranquility of the north.
Canoeing: There is always something to keep you busy while vacationing at our resort, try your hand canoeing or kayaking for a change of pace.
Hiking: If you enjoy hiking then take advantage of our nature trails and spend a day enjoying all that our remoteness has to offer.
Swimming: While vacationing at Latrielle Lake Lodge enjoy swimming to cool down on a hot summers day.
Retreats: Plan a business retreat at Latrielle Lake Lodge, enjoy fishing and working in our remote area of Northwestern Ontario.
Nature Photography: When packing for your vacation with us don't forget to bring your camera as the nature photography here is endless. Whether it is wildlife or scenic you won't want to miss either.
Nature Trails: We offer 1500 meters of nature trails that are accessible directly from the Lodge & make their way around the shore of Latreille Lake. Giving our the guests an opportunity to view the old growth forest with its jack pines,spruce, & varied color moss.
Angling
Walleye: You have a great choice when you fish from our resort, Margaret Lake, the Wenesaga River, Allison Lake, Marsh Lake and the Sesikinaga River are all accessible. Each lake offers excellent Walleye ranging from 1 over 12 lbs with the average 1 1/2 lbs.
Northern Pike: When fishing for northern pike on Latrielle Lake they average about 5 lbs but many as large as 30 lbs are caught and that trophy northern is not unheard of. Their is also good fishing on some of our access lakes such as Margaret, Marsh or Allison.
Conservation Fishing: Latreille Lake Lodge promotes conservation fishing & prefers that customers do not take fish home. This will help sustain the ecosystem & insure that the fishing in our lakes will continue to enhance the fishing experience in our chain of lakes.
Perch: Perch are plentiful on Latreille Lake and are a great pan fish for the famous canadian shore lunch.
Whitefish: Whitefish are not a common fish for the average angler, but they are fun to catch and taste much like a walleye when they are fillet.
Marine
Fishing Boats: Our fishing boat rentals at Latreille Lake Lodge are 16' Misty River boats and dependable late model 9.9 hp Yamaha outboard motors.
Canoes & Kayaks: For you enjoyment while on your vacation on Latreille Lake we have canoe & kayaks available for you use.

Fly In Access: We are a fly-in american plan lodge that offers both fishing and family vacations and is located 54 air miles northeast of Ear Falls, Ontario and is accessible only by float plane.
American Plan: Our resort offers American Plan trips only. This is an all inclusive trip which includes round trip float plane transportation from Ear Falls, Ontario. Fully modern lodging, towels & linens, home cooked meals, Misty River Boats, 9.9 hp Yamaha motors
American Plan Fly In Lodges: Plan your next vacation at our american plan fly in lodge in Northwestern Ontario enjoy great home cooked meals, fully modern accomodations and great fishing for a vacation that you will remember for a lifetime.
Cabin Rentals: For groups who prefer more privacy, we have a fully modern cabin rental that will accommodate up to 8 people behind the lodge with a southern view of Latreille Lake.
Cottage Rentals: Our fly in american plan package located north of Ear Falls, Ontario includes your cottage rental if you prefer privacy or our ten double occupancy bedrooms and four fully equipped bathrooms with indoor plumbing in our lodge.
Outposts: We have recently acquired two outposts on Allison and Margaret Lakes. You can stay the entire time at an outpost or do a combination trip where you spend part of your time at the lodge and part at the outpost.
Conference Rooms: If you are planning a working fishing vacation we have conference rooms for your use while here with us.
Family Vacations: A perfect family vacation is what you will experience when you stay at our all american plan resort on Latreille Lake Lodge. We offer everything from fishing to swimming, canoeing or hiking or just sit back relax & enjoy a beautiful canadian sunset.
Air Services: At Latreille Lake Lodge our package fishing plan includes air service from Ear Falls, Ontario Canada.
Fishing: A fishing guide is not necessary for great fishing on Latreille Lake but one can be provided if you so wish.
Internet: Our remote resort offers wireless satellite internet for your convenience while on vacation with us.
